krzysztof szczerskiKrzysztof Szczerski was born on 15 April 1973 in Krakow. In 1997, he obtained a master's degree  in political science at the Jagiellonian University, and in 2001, a doctoral degree at the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University. In 2010, he submitted his postdoctoral dissertation on the subject of "The dynamics of the European system," for which he won prize of the Prime Minister. From 2013, he has been associate professor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Mr Szczerski cooperated with the Office of the Prime Minister (1998-2001) and served as an adviser to the Minister of Health in the field of European integration, regional health policy and health care systems (1999-2000). In the years 2007-2008, Mr Szczerski was Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the Office of the Committee for European Integration. He was a member of the Civil Service Council to the Prime Minister (2009-2010) and a deputy to the Sejm (2011-2015).
In January 2015, he became the representative of the Polish Parliament in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. In August 2015, he became the Secretary of State in the Chancellery of  the President of  the Republic of Poland. Since April 2016 he is the Chief of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Poland.

Adviser to the Prime Minister on infrastructure (1998-2000). Member of the Supervisory Board of Polish Oil and Gas Co. (PGNiG S.A.) from 1999, than Vice- President (2000-2002). Alderman at Warsaw City Council (2002-2006). Minister of Economic Affairs of Poland (2005-2007). In 2011-2013 Undersecretary of State in the Ministry for Environment and Chief National Geologist. Lecturer at Lazarski University and at Warsaw School of Economics, member of the Council of the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education, Warsaw. Since December 2009 the Chair and since March 2014 until September 2017 the Vice-Chair of the Administrative Board of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).

anna mikulskaAnna Mikulska, Ph.D., is a nonresident fellow in energy studies at the Baker Institute's Center for Energy Studies. Her research focuses on the geopolitics of natural gas within the EU, former Soviet Bloc and Russia. Her current projects include assessing potential use of natural gas as a geoeconomic tool,  investigating ways to leverage U.S. LNG exports to bolster European energy security and creating
a comprehensive database of state-level fracking legislation in the U.S. Mikulska is also a senior fellow
at University of Pennsylvania's Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, where she teaches graduate-level seminars on energy policy and geopolitics of energy. She is also a fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and is on the editorial board of the law review at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland. Mikulska speaks Polish, English, German, Farsi and Russian. She received a law degree from Adam Mickiewicz University, a master's degree in international relations from the University of Windsor in Canada, and
a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Houston.

GregoryGreg joined LNGL as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer effective 4 April 2016, based in Houston Texas. Greg has held senior executive roles in the international energy sector through a distinguished career of 38 years, many with Chevron and Texaco. Most recently he was President of Chevron Natural Gas & Vice President, Gas Supply and Trading from 2011 to 2015.  In this role he was responsible for Chevron's Global LNG, natural gas, and natural gas liquid marketing and trading activity and was based in Houston. Previously as President of Chevron Global Power Company, he led a business unit which held a portfolio of commercial power plants and projects in the U.S., Asia, Middle East and Europe.  Prior to that he led Chevron Technology Ventures for five years where he was responsible for creating a portfolio of new opportunities in technology commercialization, emerging energy and Chevron's venture capital investing. Greg holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. In 2015 he completed a four-year term on the board of the Natural Gas Supply Association of America which is based Washington DC, the last two years of which he served as Chairman.  He currently serves on two non-profit boards - Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas and the Alley Theatre in Houston.

Dr. Andrew Walker is the Vice President for Strategy and Communication for Cheniere.  He is located in London and is responsible for the Strategy and Market Outlook of Cheniere, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer. Until October 2015 he was Vice President for Global LNG - and prior to that Head of LNG Strategy - at BG Group where he worked for over 20 years before joining Cheniere.  During his career in LNG he has been located in Singapore, Egypt, the USA and UK and has worked on numerous LNG projects including Atlantic LNG in Trinidad and Tobago, Egyptian LNG, and Dragon LNG in the UK.  Dr. Walker has a Doctorate in Geology from Imperial College, University of London.

TomEarlTom Earl is the Chief Commercial Officer of  VG  LNG Marketing, LLC. Tom previously served as Vice President at tha international oil company Total, focusing on the development of its global LNG business. After graduating from City Universitty in London with a degree in Engineering, Tom joined Total’s newly formed gas marketing and trading division of the newly combined Total, Elf and Petrofina operations, he managed the natural gas option desk and gas trading desk. Tom successfully led significant commercial negotiations on long-term gas and LNG contracts in countries such as Russia, Norway and Qatar. In 2006, Tom was appointed Head of Electricity Trading at Total where he led a significant  expansion into newly opened power markets across Europe. In 2011, Tom moved to Houston, where he was appointed  as head of Total,s North America commodity trading businnes, including its LNG, gas, power, coal, petcoke and LPG operations. Tom also represented Total in its US LNG liquefaction transactions from 2012 to 2015.

PiotrZawistowskiPiotr Zawistowski has been in the energy industry since 2000. He started his career in the sector as a power trader at Zakład Energetyczny Legnica and later with EnergiaPro Koncern Energetyczny S.A. In 2007-2008, he actively participated in the inception of EnergiaPro Gigawat, where he became Director of the Analysis and Risk Management Department. From 2008, he was Director of the Portfolio Management Department of TAURON Polska Energia S.A., where he took part in a number of key projects including as Project Manager responsible for the development of TAURON Group's business model and for the integration of trade functions with GZE (Vattenfall) Group companies. From May 2014 to December 2015, he was President of the Management Board of TAURON Obsługa Klienta sp. z o.o., and from December 2015 to March 2017, Vice President of the Management Board and Head of Customer Service and Trade with TAURON Polska Energia S.A., responsible among others for the development of TAURON Group's offer of electricity and gas products. He was also President of the Executive Board of the Association of Energy Trading (TOE) from March 2016 to March 2017 and Member of the Executive Board of the Polish Electricity Association (PKEE). Since September 2017, he has been on the Supervisory Board of the TGE. Piotr Zawistowski holds an MA in Corporate Management from the Wrocław University of Economics (2002). He completed a post-graduate programme in Sales Management at the Higher School of Banking in Wrocław (2007).

paweljakubowskiHas worked in energy sector since 2007 when he started his career in the Ministry of Economy in charge of key gas supply diversification projects in Poland (e.g. LNG Terminal in Świnoujście, Norwegian Shelf gas deliveries).  From November 2007 to January 2009, Mr. Jakubowski worked in Research and Development Division at PGNiG S.A.  In 2009, Paweł Jakubowski joined TSO GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. where he has been directly involved in the development of Company's long-term strategy and owner's supervision over the subsidiary. Polskie LNG S.A. He was also in charge of the development and implementation of the construction project of underground natural gas storage facilities. Since January 2016, acting as Development Division Director at GAZ-SYSTEM, Mr. Jakubowski supervised the development and implementation of the Company's long-term investment plan in Polish gas infrastructure, including the realisation of the North-South Corridor concept through the expansion of the LNG Terminal in Świnoujście and the development of the Baltic Pipe project, as well as the expansion of cross-border interconnectors with Lithuania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. As the Director of the Development Division, he also supervised the activities related with the European regulatory framework in natural gas sector, international cooperation and business development of LNG services. Between October 2017 and March 2018 Paweł Jakubowski acted as Managing Director of Polskie LNG. Since June 2017, Mr. Jakubowski serves on the ENTSOG Board - association of natural gas transmission systems operators in the European Union Member States. Paweł Jakubowski has graduated from Warsaw University of Technology and Warsaw School of Economics.

PeterThzompsonPeter Thompson is a senior manager at Baringa Partners, and has a long standing reputation and experience in advising global LNG players. In the last decade, Peter has worked with numerous global LNG players, including US LNG players – from regasification developers in the mid 2000s to the liquefaction projects developers more recently. Peter's Clients include lenders, equity investors, project developers and (potential) buyers of global LNG, and in particular from the US. This experience sits alongside a global perspective on natural gas and the interaction between LNG and gas markets.

E. Scott ChrismanScott Chrisman is vice president of commercial & development for Sempra LNG & Midstream, a wholly-owned affiliate of Sempra Energy (NYSE: SRE). He is responsible for global commercial and development activities related to liquefaction facilities, regasification terminals, and LNG shipping and is the global head of LNG marketing. In this role, he has commercial, development and LNG marketing leadership responsibility for the $9 billion, 2-train, 12 Mtpa Port Arthur Liquefaction Project and the 2-train, 12 Mtpa ECA Liquefaction Project. Each of these projects are currently under development. During 2011 to 2014, Scott was the executive project leader for a 200+ person team and managed a $300 million development budget for the $10 billion, 3-train, 13.5 Mtpa Cameron Liquefaction Project which is owned by Sempra (50.2%) and Mitsui, Mitsubishi and ENGIE (each at 16.6%) which took FID in August 2014 and is currently under construction. From 2011 to 2017, he was a Sempra representative on the Cameron LNG Joint Venture board. From 2003 to 2011, he served in various positions of increasing responsibility at Sempra LNG & Midstream, including vice president of finance, director of commercial & development, and director of economic analysis. During this period, he facilitated the development of the Cameron LNG and Energia Costa Azul regasification terminals, LNG supply from Tangguh, and a 50+ cargo RasGas LNG supply agreement in 2009 to 2010 to import LNG into the U.S. at Cameron. Before joining Sempra LNG & Midstream in 2003, Scott was in investment banking at Simmons & Company International where he led over $3 billion of M&A transactions in the midstream sector. During 1990 to 1996 Scott held various positions at Exxon Chemicals in engineering research, plant operations, project management and global business planning. Throughout his 25 years in the energy industry, Scott has served in various project and business development, operations, finance and business executive roles on projects and transactions throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Scott has a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Rice University in Houston, Texas and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The University of Tulsa in Oklahoma. Scott is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and an Executive Committee Member of the International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL).

Because of my long career and my good fortune to have had so many opportunities to work in many international settings, I am member of a community of specialists and experts who devote their efforts to producing and utilizing CBM and CMM and other energy resources in an environmentally sensitive and sustainable manner. My goal for every development project is to create value for the developer, the government of the host country, and the local community. As president of Raven Ridge Resources, Incorporated, my responsibilities comprise corporate and strategic planning, as well development of new business and project opportunities. I have authored and have been a co-author of numerous published reports and papers concerning coalbed methane and coal mine methane resource evaluation, economics, policy, and marketing. My international experience includes projects undertaken in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia-Pacific, and Africa. I provide leadership for projects conducted by government and private sector clients looking to assess, evaluate, and explore for and develop coal related methane deposits and other energy resources.  I have led contract work with EPA's Climate Change Division over the last 25 years in efforts to reduce emissions of methane from coal mining. This work extends from site specific work to broader country-level resource studies and international policy. I encourage safe and environmentally responsible coal mine methane project development worldwide and serve the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe as the Chair of the Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane and as the Vice Chair of the Committee on Sustainable Energy. I was recently appointed to a four year term as an expert for the newly formed UNECE International Center of Excellence on CMM in China. I am member of the faculty of the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute and am licensed as a Professional Geologist, #1602, in the State of Texas.

Jim MarshallJames S. Marshall, Executive Vice President. I have worked more than 38 years in the petroleum and mining-related industries. I am a Certified Petroleum Geologist , beginning my career in the Rocky Mountains developing tight gas sand prospects for a small independent oil and gas company. Later as a founder of Raven Ridge, I began my career in unconventional energy resources. Having spent most of my career assessing and developing coalbed and coal mine methane resources in many of the gassy coal basins throughout the world; I focused my efforts on the technical and economic assessment and evaluation of the potential for developing coal mine methane (CMM) projects at underground mines located in the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, Poland, the former Czechoslovakia, Viet Nam and China, and at opencast mines in the Philippines, Indonesia, and recently, in Colombia and Mongolia. During recent years, I have evaluated not just the technical and economic feasibility of CMM project development, but also  the social and environmental impacts of proposed projects.  I have extensive experience in organizing and conducting training sessions, workshops, and other forms of outreach and communication for the private and public sectors, both in the U.S. and abroad, and have authored co-authored reports and  professional papers concerning coalbed methane and coal mine methane resource evaluation, project opportunities, economics of resource development, as well as policies impacting project development. I am an internationally recognized expert in coalbed, coal mine methane and unconventional gas resource assessment, development, and utilization.  I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1978 with a bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences with an emphasis in Geology.

Łukasz KroplewskiŁukasz Kroplewski is a Master of Law and a Master of Administration. He graduated from Executive MBA management studies. He dealt with legal and business consulting. He was a member of the Local Government Board of Appeals in 2009–2017 and is a co-founder and mediator of the Mediation Center operating at the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs in Koszalin. He is a President of the Chamber of Commerce for Gas Industry, Member of the UNECE Group of Experts on Methane from Coal Mines. He was appointed a Chairman of the Presidium of the International Center of Excellence in the field of Methane from Coal Mines (ICE - CMM Poland). – National Research Institute. Graduate from Faculty of Drilling Department, AGH University of Science and Technology, Cracow. At the same faculty in 2002, he obtained a PhD degree in technical sciences. From the beginning of his 30-year professional career he dealt with issues related to the reservoir stimulation. He participated in many foreign courses and internships, improving his work technique. Author and co-author of  numerous technological solutions in this field. Many of them have been patented and published in Poland and abroad. Together with his team he received many awards at national and international fairs and exhibitions promoting inventive and innovative activities. In recent years, particularly active in the area of developing technologies for unconventional hydrocarbons reservoir completion. He is the Manager of Gilowice Project concerning the possibility of commercial obtaining of methane from coal. He cooperates closely with industrial companies to develop and implement the reservoir stimulation solutions. He leads and participates in national and international research projects. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Oil and Gas Institute - National Research Institute. Since 2017, he has represented INIG-PIB in the Board of the International Centre of Excellence on Coal Mine Methane operating at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.

He has been working on these subjects in international setting since 2008, serving at NGOs, diplomatic missions, and international organizations. Michal Drabik is currently employed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) as an Economic Affairs Officer. He is working in the Sustainable Energy Division and serves as the Secretary of the Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane. He also oversees and coordinates the work of the Task Force on Methane Management in Extractive Industries. Since 2013 he is a member of the New York State Bar.

anusz JureczkaJanusz Jureczka, Ph.D., a graduate of Faculty of Earth Sciences of Silesian University in Katowice is a geologist employed since 1983 in the Upper Silesian Branch of Polish Geological Institute in Sosnowiec, currently as its director. He specializes in geology of coal and coalbed methane deposits. In recent years he focused on the issue of pre-mine recovery of coalbed methane employing new methods never before used in Polish mines. He is a member of the Group of Experts on Coal Mine Methane and a member of the Board of International Centre of Excellence on Coal Methane in Poland, acting under UNECE. He is an author or co-author of more than 120 scientific papers.
