26th GAZTERM Conference 2023

Report from the 26th GAZTERM 2023 CONFERENCE

Dear Attendees,

It is our pleasure and honor to invite you to the 26th time to the GAZTERM Conference to be held in Międzyzdroje, Poland, on May 14-17, 2023.

The still ongoing energy crisis has exposed several weaknesses of European gas markets, especially in the structure and security of supply. However, decisions and actions taken at the international and national levels herald impending qualitative changes in the functioning of the European gas industry. Taking into account the above circumstances, we decided that the lead theme of GAZTERM 2023 should be "The New Global Energy Order".

The international group of managers, policy makers, scientists and experts will gather to discuss a variety of current issues pertaining to the gas market and possible scenarios for its development and transition.
Discussion panels will focus, among other things, on new solutions for the security of gas markets in Europe, Euro-Atlantic LNG partnership, new infrastructure projects, evolution of the regulatory architecture and the current and prospective roles of gas exchanges. Other topics will include the present-day situation in the Polish gas sector.

The Conference will also include an event that has become a fixed item on the Gazterm agenda, namely: The Transatlantic Gas Summit - Transatlantic Partnership for Security of Gas Markets in Europe.

Decarbonization of the gas sector and the role of renewable gases will be discussed by Green GAZTERM, a separate theme panel.

We will soon share with you a detailed list of topics and issues to be discussed by panels and presentations in this edition of the Conference.

As every year, also this time we invite our Industry Partners from all over the world to cooperate and participate in the event. We intend to apply for the Honorary Patronage over the 26th Gazterm Conference to President of Poland Mr. Andrzej Duda. Moreover, we plan to invite a number of distinguished institutions to join the Honorary Committee.

Despite the tense yet dynamic situation in the gas market, the conference proceedings will remain at the top notch merit-based and organizational levels. As in previous years, the agenda of the conference is developed by the Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies, our conference merit partner. We and our long-standing partners look forward to seeing you at this year's Conference.
